ABOUT ME

I specialize in trauma treatment, integrating diverse therapeutic approaches and modalities, including EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting, the Flash technique, ego state/parts work, and more. I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) since 2022.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of the Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)

I assist individuals struggling with compulsive unwanted sexual and pornographic behavior, seeking to change their patterns.

With nearly 15 years of experience as a chaplain in a hospital setting, I have honed my skills in supporting individuals during challenging life circumstances.

My approach emphasizes healing and upholds the dignity of each person. I prioritize addressing their true selves before any other obstacles that may hinder their personal growth. I adopt a direct yet gentle manner, working closely with committed individuals dedicated to their well-being, using body-based or “bottom-up” trauma based approach.

Currently, my services are exclusively provided virtually.

What is Trauma?

Trauma is the emotional and psychological response to deeply distressing events that overwhelm your ability to cope. It can stem from experiences like accidents, abuse, loss, or ongoing stress. Trauma affects everyone differently, often leaving lasting impacts on thoughts, emotions, and relationships.

Path to Healing

Healing is not a straight line—it’s a journey, unique to each individual. At its core, healing is about reclaiming your sense of self, finding balance, and creating a life that feels fulfilling and whole. While the path may feel challenging at times, you don’t have to walk it alone.

Anxiety

Anxiety is a natural response to stress, characterized by feelings of fear, worry, or unease about the future. While occasional anxiety is normal, persistent or overwhelming anxiety can interfere with daily life. Symptoms may include restlessness, racing thoughts, physical tension, or difficulty concentrating.

Childhood trauma

Childhood trauma refers to distressing or harmful experiences during early years that significantly impact emotional, psychological, and physical development. These experiences can affect one’s sense of safety, self-worth, and relationships in adulthood.

Dissociation and trance

Dissociation is a psychological state where an individual feels disconnected from their thoughts, feelings, or sense of identity. It can be a response to stress, trauma, or overwhelming emotions, often leading to feelings of numbness or detachment from reality.

Anger

Anger is a natural emotional response to perceived threats, injustices, or frustrations. While it can motivate change or assert boundaries, when unchecked, it can lead to negative outcomes in relationships and well-being.

Stress

Stress is your body’s response to challenges or demands, whether physical, emotional, or mental. While short-term stress can motivate action, chronic or overwhelming stress can impact your well-being, leading to fatigue, irritability, or difficulty focusing.

Depression

Depression is more than just feeling sad—it’s a persistent sense of emptiness, hopelessness, or lack of interest in things you once enjoyed. It can affect your thoughts, emotions, energy, and daily life.

Fears

Fear is a fundamental emotion that arises in response to perceived danger or uncertainty. While it serves as a protective mechanism, excessive or irrational fear can limit personal growth and hinder daily functioning.

Addictions

Addiction is a chronic condition characterized by a compulsion to engage in a behavior or consume a substance despite negative consequences. It can affect physical, emotional, and mental well-being, often leading to a cycle of dependence.
